Thumbs Up for Craigs List

This weekend was pretty productive. We decided to post a few items on the craigslist website - the weight bench in the nursery that has no place to go except out of the house, a scanner, a cd burner, an old clarinet, a Nintendo 64, my digital camera (we have two since merging all our belongings back in June, and mine is not as nice), and a good portion of my Stone Critter Collection.

I guess when you hit the market with just the right item at just the right price, there can be quite a demand. The weight bench was posted yesterday afternoon and we confirmed the buyer this morning. I posted the rest of the stuff this afternoon and I had about 5 or 6 emails about the N64 within a couple hours, and one about the scanner. We are going down to K-Mart in just a minute to make the exchange for the N64. Very nice way to make some extra ca$h.

Anyway, I was just very impressed with this so I thought I would share - we were basically experimenting to see if this would work.
