Well, after over 8 years of driving my '99 Tracker, we finally parted ways. Not because anything was wrong with it...in fact, it's in perfectly good shape for almost 100,000 miles...but because driving a small two door car (that isn't the safest in the world) with an infant is not the best idea. It will be missed, tape player and all.
Now, I get to scoot around in a 2006 Camry. It's a much nicer, smoother ride, with its sunroof, cd player (yay!), radio controls on the steering wheel and quite a nice acceleration. It's harder now to stay the speed limit on the interstate.
The good thing is that it gets great gas mileage, so we don't always have to take the other car on long trips (which is a stick shift, so I can't share in the driving). I suppose this car will have to last us until we have our third child and we have to resort to a mini van (yikes).
If anyone is interested in a '99 Tracker, my Dad is selling it for me. We can talk price. :)
