Finally had Erin's 2 year check up today. She's weighing a little over 31 pounds (90th percentile) and is 34 inches tall (75th percentile). She's come a long way since being in the 5th percentile for weight at 6 months...
I don't know if she remembers getting shots from her last checkup at 18 months, but she sure was jumpy from the moment we walked in the door. She was not happy to see the nurse or the doctor.
She was not supposed to get any shots this time, so I assured her at the beginning that nobody was going to hurt her. She kept repeating that several times. That's why I felt so bad when she did end up needing one booster shot that had gotten overlooked on the chart. But as soon as it was over it was forgotten about.
Overall she did very well.
