There are only a handful of preschools in Greenwood, and we visited two of them that had openings for this upcoming year. We decided on Mud Pies because we think they'll be learning a wider range of things (Spanish, sign language, cooking, etc.). The other one mostly does the alphabet with the 3 year old class, and of course Erin is way past that. So this will be more educational and challenging for her.
If it was up to Erin, she'd start going tomorrow. She's very excited about it and keeps asking us if she can go to school. But of course she's going to have to wait about 3 more weeks. For me, this means 3 hours a day of kid-free time for myself! Until late November, that is. And then it will be mommy-newborn time.
This is going to be good for all of us.
