Noah hasn't officially said his first word yet, but he's coming close. So far, he's still only saying "da da da..." and "ma ma ma..." But he's definitely communicating with these syllables.
Yesterday, Erin mentioned "Grandma" and Noah immediately started pointing to the front door and saying "ma ma ma ma." It was obvious he wanted to see Grandma. I wonder which one he was thinking about (maybe both?).
Also, he loves the book Llama, Llama, Red Pajama. We have a llama stuffed animal to go with it. Noah will pick up the book or the animal and say "ma ma ma ma."
In addition to these, he also waves bye while saying "ah." And he'll pick up Erin's lion stuffed animal and say "aaaahhhhhh."
Of course the old standard is to point to pretty much anything and say "da."
He's coming along, but not quite to a real first word yet. I wonder what it will be.
