Weekend with G&G

My parents came up to see us this weekend. We haven't seen them since Christmas.

Saturday morning we spent some time downtown and had a very yummy lunch at Calhoun's looking out on the TN river. After getting home and napping, watching the Lion King (what day is complete without it?), and having dinner, we went out to Bruster's for dessert.

It was customer appreciation day at Bruster's, so if you showed up in your pj's you got a free single scoop waffle cone. Erin was given more bites than she normally gets, so when we got home she was the most wound up I think I've ever seen her - and she has a lot of energy to begin with so that's saying a lot. At one point she was running in place on the air mattress yelling "I am deer! I am deer! I am deer! I am tiger! I am tiger...." It was rather amusing.

Here are a few photos from the weekend (taken by my dad). A lot of them are from this afternoon in the backyard. Nice warm sunny day to be outside.

Erin is now napping on the couch with her dad - something that hasn't been done in a long time. She has refused twice today to take a nap in her crib and this was the only way to ensure peace for the rest of the day.
