Erin and I didn't have any plans for today, but I wanted to get out and do something fun - and free. I decided to pack us up for a morning zoo trip (we have a year's membership), and the rain was supposed to hold off till the afternoon. We were there for about an hour and a half, and once the thunder started we headed for the exit. We didn't make it to the car without getting a little wet, but Erin didn't seem to mind.
The trip was fun. I tried to get some interesting pictures. The temperature wasn't too bad and it wasn't crowded at all. It was a pretty sucessful outing.
Now we're home and it's sunny out.
