This getting rid of the pacifier thing has gone a lot smoother than I thought it would. Once she quieted down last night, I only heard a few cries around 11:30, but then nothing until 6am.
When I put her down for a nap today, she cried hard for 20 minutes. It came to an abrupt stop and she slept for an hour. Then for bedtime, she gave a few cries - not more than 5 minutes total - and she's out for the night.
Yay!
Also, she drank from a straw for the first time today! My little girl's growin' up.
