I have never gotten a flu shot in my life, and I have rarely had the flu. I was planning on getting one this year because I not only have to look after my own health, but Erin's too. I had not yet gotten around to getting one because I hate needles and it was hard for me to make myself go.
I think you can see where I'm going with this. I have the flu. Luckily, Erin and S already got their shots. I started to feel bad last night (Fri night), so I get two days of help from her dad. Right now they have left for a few hours to give me some rest.
Since April, I don't think I've been alone in this house.

No, I haven't gone to the doctor - but it's a fever, achy body, sore throat, stuffiness kinda thing. I don't think you get a fever with a cold.
But whatever it is, it's no fun...
