Oakes Farm

Drove a few miles north up to Oaks Farm this morning. We were meeting up with the church playgroup - although we weren't too social, we kinda kept to ourselves. It was a lot of fun, but freezing cold. I guess it is mid October after all.

We took a short hay ride to their pumpkin patch. We expected the pumpkins to be growing on a vine...hence the patch part. But they were just sprawled all over the ground for you to pick up. I guess giving little kids sharp objects to cut the stem wouldn't be a good idea.
