Doin' Alright

It seems like I don't blog much during the week. I guess it's because usually nothing earth shattering happens, but not all posts need to be earth shattering material. Here is what we've been up to so far this week:

- Met up with one of the playgroups yesterday to do some crafts. We made a pumpkin magnet for the fridge and decorated a cupcake. There was a little boy who tried to claim our pumpkin magnet for his own ("mine"), the same boy who I swear was going to break the glass coffee table after trying to steal the little girl's balloon.

- Went to KARMS thrift store today and got Erin 6 or 7 winter outfits for around $7, then got myself a pair of lounging around the house pants at Target. She got lots of attention on these errands. And she was real smiley with everyone.

- Tonight I have done the dishes, made a batch of granola, and now I'm blogging. In a minute, I'm going to do my homework on the election - the other stuff besides the president. I'm going to look up the US people and S is going to look up the TN people. Figure we should know what we're doing on the 4th.

- Erin has been doing great as far as falling asleep at night. After I stopped blogging our progress, it backtracked a little. But for the past week or so, it has taken her just a minute or two to quiet down after I leave the room. She'll usually make it till 4 or 5 till she wakes up. Not too shabby.

- Also, I have a small hard bump on the bone of my wrist. I had one of these years ago, and it mysteriously went away after about a month. And now I have another one and it hurts a little. No idea what that is.

Well that's about it. Like I said, nothing earth shattering. Just pluggin along. Next week we have a few Halloween events to attend, so we can show off our kitten some more.
