Two Weeks Already

Today has been good. Not too much excessive crying and the nursing is continuing to go very well. We took a walk around the neighborhood this afternoon, but half the time I was pushing an empty stroller since she wasn't a happy camper. We're going to want to walk with her a lot, so I hope she gets used to it.

Grandma & Grandpa B are back visiting again. This allowed us to have a dinner out just the two of us tonight. It was a great chance to recharge and clear our heads. But, by the time we had our check, I was really missing her and looking forward to getting home. I guess it is easy to get attached, despite all the crying and keeping us up at night.

Tomorrow morning, we are going to try to time the feedings so that we can both sneak out to Mass together. I've had to miss the past two weeks, and I can't even remember the last time I missed Mass on Sunday. So I'm looking forward to getting back.

She's two weeks old tomorrow. I can definitely see her getting just a little bit bigger and older since we got home last Tuesday. Sometimes it's hard to see things like that when you are around the person everyday, but I can see it. Even though these first few weeks are being very hard on us, I know they will be gone just like that. Tomorrow she'll be off to college.
