Name

About a week ago, we decided on our child's name (no, I'm not going to tell you). We've been talking about our children's names before we even got married. There was one girl name in particular that I have liked for a long time, and up until recently, we were about 90% sure that was going to be it. But for both of us, it seemed that this had become the name of our "abstract" child, and it just didn't fit this person, even though we've never met or seen her.

So a few weeks ago, we knew we'd have to keep our eyes open for new inspiration. It came on Good Friday as we were driving to Stations of the Cross. I saw it on a street sign, and asked what he thought of it. We both agreed that we really liked it and that it was in the running. After little thought and not much time, it was clear to us that this is her name.

We are keeping it a secret until her arrival, it's just more fun that way. Luckily, you don't have to wait long...
