Noah came down with a cold yesterday. He seems a lot better today, but not 100 percent. I hope the rest of us can avoid catching it. It's kind of hard to keep your distance from a 7 month old baby.

The other night I was doing dishes, and Sean and Erin were in the living room (Erin was watching Backyardigans). Erin says to her dad: "there's a monster in the kitchen." He asks if she means our kitchen or the one on the TV. She says our kitchen. Then he asks what the monster is doing. She replies "the dishes."

Erin and Noah took their first bath together this morning. Since he's sitting up so well on his own now, he no longer wants to lay down on his foamy thing for his baths. So as a time and water saver, I'll be bathing them together now. They both seemed to have fun, it was pretty cute.

We plan to start the potty training process in about two weeks (we need to start with a weekend where we are both home the whole time). Back in the summer we made two attempts at it, but she wasn't ready then. We think she can handle it now, and we are just going to plow through until she gets it. No going back this time.
