We made the trek over the mountains to spend Christmas and the surrounding days in Greenville. We had our Cendrowski Christmas on the 23rd (Brian and Nicole were spending the 24th & 25th with the Zokans), and then Grandma and Grandpa Barnette came to visit the 24th through the 26th. So Erin and Noah had two occasions to open presents and LOTS of grandparent time.
Some of the highlights:
We took Erin to go see a Christmas light display, but it was too close to bedtime so she fell asleep just as we got there.
Noah all of a sudden mastered sitting up on his own. No crawling yet, though.
It snowed Christmas day...the first snow on Christmas in Greenville in 47 years.
We were watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (on a very large screen) and Erin turned to me crying after the squirrel came out of the Christmas tree and was running on the coffee table towards the camera (the squirrel looked quite huge).
The drive home took 6 hours (takes 3 1/2 driving straight through) because of traffic issues on I-40. The kids did pretty well, could have been worse.
Fun trip, but good to be home. Here are a narrowed down version of all the photos.
