What are we up to?

I feel like I haven't been writing much lately. I guess things have been pretty low key. Here are a few things that have been going on:

* My iMac had to be taken in for repair. One of the fans was malfunctioning and causing it to run on high speed for hours at a time. The people at the Apple store were supposed to have it fixed within 3 to 5 days. On day 5, they told me it would be another two or three days. I asked to have a reduction in the labor cost since they are late, and now I'm getting it done for FREE (would have been over $160)!!!

* Erin's favorite baby doll is White Baby. That's her name because without her clothes, she's made of white fabric. The other day, Erin informed us that her name is Eeg. Good thing we didn't ask her to name her baby brother (the following day she returned to the name "White Baby").

* Today we are going to buy one of those black-out roller shades for Noah's room. I'm tired of his short naps which leave him cranky. We're going to see if having the room darker will help him sleep longer. Bedtime seems to go so much smoother than his naps. I wish he could just tell us what he needs!

* A few weeks ago, when Erin and I were driving back from a Halloween party, she says to me "mom, I see balloons." It took me a minute to realize she was talking about all the street lights. I guess when you are never out after dark you wouldn't know what those are. And balloons are a pretty good guess.
