Saturday:
Went back out to The Cove again. Sean and Erin went in the water while I fed Noah and then dipped my feet in. Not as many ducks out this time. But we had beautiful weather, same as last weekend.
We had lunch afterwards at Calhoun's (not sure if it's a chain or local, but it's an excellent restaurant).
Erin seems to have outgrown the highchair, and even has no interest in the booster seat (it's alright if we're sitting in a booth). We got her a salad and cheese quesadilla off the kid's menu, which she ate most of it. She also behaved very well. Such a big girl.
Sunday:
All four of us went to 7:30am Mass. It's a good time to go because it's not crowded and it's not close to Erin's nap time (so she would, in theory, not be cranky). I was in charge of Noah and Sean was in charge of Erin. I got the better end of the deal. He slept the whole time, while Erin had two tantrums. I learned that the cry room is not sound proof.
We went out in the afternoon to run some errands, knowing that we could overtire Noah. And we did. He slept for maybe 20 minutes while we were out. He usually gets a long afternoon nap when we're at home. So he was hard to keep asleep in the evening, and he was a little restless at night. It could have been worse, but it's frustrating when you can't set him down because he'll wake right up.
We're looking forward to two weeks from now. Noah's first trip to Greenville.
