Two grandparents, two parents, a toddler and a newborn...and the house is SILENT.I guess that's probably because 4 out of 6 of those people are sleeping. It's quite nice.
Noah has been doing great this week. Feedings are still going well and he's sleeping a lot. He sleeps great during the day, but then likes to keep us up for part of the night. We need to work on reversing that a bit. Call me crazy, but I like sleeping after 3am. But considering he's just over a week old, I'd say he's doing fabulous.
Erin is also doing great. She really likes her little brother and loves to give him hugs and kisses. She has actually had drastically fewer tantrums this past week than she did in the couple weeks leading up to his arrival. But the thing is, she is still getting plenty of attention because she has her daddy and grandparents here. Once it's just me, her and Noah, things might change. But so far not a hint of jealousy.
As for me, I'm doing fine too. I'm actually getting enough sleep to keep me going. I luckily didn't have any baby blues after he was born, and he's not stressing me out nearly as much as Erin did. I'm also very glad not to be pregnant anymore. It's hard to have your body taken over by a squirmy 7 pounder. I'm just glad to have him here on the outside!
