Erin is two today. It's hard to believe she's that old already, but yet it seems like she's always been here. We really have been blessed with a wonderful little girl. We've seen the "terrible two" monster peak its head out, but it's not living here to stay just yet. I just hope for a relatively peaceful transition when her brother gets here in about a month. It's been a while since I've done a list of what she's currently doing, and now seems like a good time. So here are the highlights of Erin at age two:
- Sleeping in a toddler bed
- Sitting in a booster chair at the dinner table
- feeds herself with a spoon or fork (or fingers) 99% of the time
- mostly speaks in full sentences (anywhere between 3 and 7 words)
- picks up on new words VERY fast (I have no idea what her word count is)
- knows the whole alphabet and can sing the abc song
- can read about 20 to 25 words (nouns we have worked on together)
- can count to 10
- knows all the basic colors
