Today Erin and Noah started back at preschool. Erin dressed herself (this is relevant, I promise) in a green shirt with little pink hearts on it, a pair of royal blue shorts, and her "croc" sandles. She tells me:
"Mom, I'm an island. My green shirt is the grass, the hearts are the houses, my blue shorts are the ocean...And my crocs are crocodiles swimming in my pants."

Their first day back was a little rough. Noah cried as I left, and Erin cried when I picked them up because she didn't want to go home. Hopefully tomorrow will go more smoothly.
