Hey Luke, what's going on?
Well, I'll be 9 months in a couple of weeks, so that means my birthday will be getting here pretty soon. I'm excited about that. I'm crawling all around without any trouble, and I can even walk if I'm holding on to something. I've taken a step or two without holding on, but I quickly fall over. Mom thinks I'll be walking on my own really soon. As I get around on the floor, I love to chew on everything I can find, especially shoes.
Mom is feeding me lots of yummy new foods. Three times a day she gives me mushed up fruits and vegetables. I can even drink from a cup. I'm getting more teeth in, which will eventually help me to eat foods that are not so mushed up. The teeth are great, except when they're hurting me. The pain sometimes makes me take short naps, but at least I'm still sleeping all the way through the night.
I'm not talking yet, but I'm able to make more babbling sounds. I'm even saying "ma ma ma ma..." which will soon turn into being able to say "mama." But for now when I need something, I'll just continue to let out a horrific high-pitched scream that seems to get her attention.
There are also these other two kids that live with us. They are fun to play with and they're hilarious! The little boy likes to wrestle with me and sometimes we blow raspberries at each other. The little girl likes to do silly things to make me laugh, and sometimes she puts hats and girly headbands on my head. I think as I get older, they'll be even more fun to play with.
I think that's about it. I'm pretty content with life. I hope it stays this easy: eat, sleep, poop, play.
