We've been trying to figure out what to do about our boys' sleeping arrangements. We didn't feel that Noah was ready to go to the toddler bed yet and Luke is getting too heavy for the bassinet part of the pack n' play. I didn't want to buy a second crib, but it looked like that was going to be our only option. Until yesterday.
Yesterday morning, I was going upstairs to get Noah out of his crib after he started calling for me and saying "out...out." Coming into the room, I see he has climbed up on the side of the crib with one leg out and one leg in. He was stuck up there.
So we decided to make the switch for him and see how he does with it. We really don't want him to get injured by falling out of the crib.
Last night he did perfect with it. Erin and Noah go to bed at the same time. So we did their routine, tucked them in and left. We heard Noah talking for a bit, but he never got out (according to Erin) and slept all night just fine.
His nap today didn't go as smoothly. After I left, I heard him playing for about 15 minutes, so I went in to tell him to go to sleep. Then he didn't want me to leave, so I had to leave him screaming at the door. He quieted down pretty quickly, though.
I just peaked in to see if he fell asleep on his bed. Nope. He's on the floor. But that's okay, he'll get used to it.
