Half way there

I try not to let a week go by without blogging. But really, our lives are not very exciting and blogable right now. When a newborn is around, life slows to a crawl. You don't do much except feed 'em, change 'em and sleep 'em. And in the meantime I'm trying to tend to my other two kids' needs as well.

The days seem to be just rolling by, but without much happening. I'm looking forward to Luke being 3 months or older, when I can get around with him more easily. Drop Erin and Noah off at preschool and then go run some errands. Or take him to the library's baby storytime. Just get out of the house in general without having to worry about him crying at any given time, or needing to nap because he's been awake for an hour.

In our experience with our other two kids, we noticed that after 3 months, life with the baby gets much easier. You have a baby who is on a schedule instead of an unpredictable newborn. I'm just patiently waiting for the day...and we're half way there already (he's 6 weeks tomorrow!).
