Erin:
Erin is becoming a backseat driver. She points out all the stop signs and wants us to stop at ALL of them, even if they aren't for us. She pays attention to the stop lights and tells me when I need to stop and go. She comments on when there's a lot of cars around and when I mumble something under my breath at another driver, she wants to know who I was talking to and what they did. It doesn't bother me. I'm glad she's being so observant.
We've always gone through time periods where Erin will wake up in the middle of the night and come out of her room. Or she'll wake up at 5 or 5:30 and come out to start the day. For a while now, I've been teaching her how to read the clock. We decided to put a digital clock in her room and told her she can only come out in the morning when the first number is a 6 or 7. If it's anything else, she needs to go back to sleep. For two mornings now it has worked! Hopefully it will keep up.
Noah:
Noah's vocabulary is growing like crazy. He's picking up new words all the time. Some are accurate (or at least could be understood in context), but some are his version of the word that only we would know what he's referring to. Our favorite right now is his word for banana. He basically just sticks his tongue out and moves it back and forth across his lips while making a "la" sound. I also like "nuck" for milk.
We also have suspicion that his milk and egg allergies have gone away. Over Christmas he was accidentally (by me) given a dish with egg and milk in it. He didn't have an eczema reaction, so, with our doctor's permission, we are giving him small amounts of milk to see if he reacts. So far nothing. Next we'll try eggs.
Luke:
Two months on Monday. Growing like a weed. He's somewhere in the 11 pound range. He's doing very well...
Ok, I've been working (and interrupted) on this post all day. I hate to cut Luke's short, but I'm tired and just ready to post it already. I hope to put up more on Monday when Luke's 2 months old...at least a picture anyway.
Goodnight.

The only way we're going to get a word out of this is by having at least three more kids (Isaac, Scarlett, and Tyrannosaurs [we apparently let Luke name the last one]).
We should have had more foresight.
