Erin and I had a really good morning together, which we hardly ever get time just the two of us. She got to skip school today because she had her first dentist appointment.
We dropped Noah off at school and went to a couple stores in search of a few winter clothes items for her. All I ended up finding was a pair of shoes and some socks. Still need to find some pants (she's falling into the gap of being between toddler and girl sizes).
Next was a stop at Cambridge Park which has an awesome playground. It was deserted, so her and I got to enjoy our snacks and playing all by ourselves. Unfortunately, all the playground equipment was wet. But we had a good time.
Then it was off to the dentist. She was excited about going, even though she had no clue what it was all about. But she did great. She allowed her teeth to be cleaned and for the dentist to look at her teeth for a minute. She didn't speak a word or crack a smile, but she was very cooperative. Exactly how I thought she'd be.
When we were done, we had a little extra time before needing to get Noah, so I took her for a reward for doing so great at the dentist. We shared a strawberry shake at Dairy Queen.
I wish we had more one on one time like this, especially since she's so well behaved without her brother around :)
