First Day at Mud Pies
(These pictures were the best I could do. Couldn't get a good one of the two of them together)
The kids are about an hour and a half into their first day at preschool. I think the three of us were all a little uneasy about it this morning. Erin did fine, though. She didn't get upset. As I was leaving, the teacher was getting the kids around the table to do some coloring. The coloring sheet looked like it had different things on it to color "yellow." I think she'll do fine today.
Noah on the other hand, I'm not so sure. Once he figured out I was leaving, he wasn't a happy camper. But the teacher was very understanding and held Noah to show him some toys. She said she was about to take them to the gym to let them run around and then it would be snack time. I would hope at least food would make him happy. I think today (and even this week) will be rough for him, but I just have to keep reminding myself that he'll get used to it.
So for my freedom today? Went to the store for groceries. Now I'm at home writing this and I have a messy kitchen/house to work on. Don't think I'll get it done in the next hour and a half. Honestly, I can't wait to go pick them up. I miss my babies.

I hope everyone has a good transition!
Thanks again for coming out yesterday. It was great to see you guys and watch the kids fluttering around!
Hope the first day went well! Are both of your kiddos going every day? We are nervously/excitedly awaiting the start of preschool for Lydia next week. She is going on Tuesday/Thursday mornings. I'm looking forward to going to the grocery store by myself! :o)
Amy - yeah we decided to have them both go 5 days a week. That gives me a few hours a day to myself, and then after the baby is born in November that will give me a break from having all 3 kids all the time.
Today went pretty well for them. Erin was just fine and Noah ended up settling down except that he was really tired from having to miss his nap. I hope he adjusts to one nap fairly quickly. It's kind of being forced on him.
I hope Lydia enjoys school as well!
