Lost in Transition

Almost 3 weeks here and still adjusting. We don't have our routines down yet and there are little things here and there to be doing with the house (things that aren't getting done). So we kind of feel like we're aimlessly walking around in circles.

Sean is starting to work some half days (he doesn't officially start his job until mid-August) so that will get a little routine back for him. I don't yet know what to do with the kids around here and I can't find any playgroups, so they aren't getting much social interaction. We have found a park/playground that we really like. Although with this crazy heat, we can't get there too often.

We're starting to think about preschool for the kids. We thought about just sending Erin, but then that still leaves Noah at home and doesn't give me a full break during that time (and of course he needs the time away around other kids too). And when the baby's here in November, it will be nice to have time alone with him without the other two needing my attention also. We're looking at 3 days a week (3 hours each day) which is enough but not too much. At this point, it's finding a place with openings for both kids and one that is affordable. So it's not a done deal just yet.

It'll be nice in a couple of months when we feel more settled and we all have our daily routines back.
