We didn't know we'd have a 2 month old baby by our first anniversary. And by 4 years, we'd have a 3 year old, a 1 year old and another on the way.
We knew nothing of diapers, bottles, car seats, teething, being spit up on, peed and pooped on. We didn't know about true sleep deprivation (thanks, Erin) and how much you can appreciate sleeping through the night again. We didn't know just how many times a child can reread the same book or watch the same movie/show over and over again without getting tired of it. We didn't know just how messy a house can get with toys.
We didn't know that we end up moving back to Upstate SC after our time was up in Knoxville. And that we'd be buying our first home there.
Life was altered on November 23rd, 2005 (our dating anniversary) and has only gotten better since. Can't wait to see what lies ahead...

One thing I think your friends, and certainly your families knew on that day -- you guys would be "naturals" as parents and your lives would show your deep reliance on God.
