Alas, there was no seeing of Rock City. We got as far as the parking lot for Ruby Falls, and decided that many of us (most crucially, the three-year-old one) were just too tuckered to walk that far.
Also, contrary to the claims of their website, baby backpacks are not encouraged.
So we packed it all back out and headed to the Creative Discovery Museum, which was air conditioned and much, much fun.
