It's hard to know just how much an older baby (11 months in my case) understands when we talk to him. How many words and phrases does his know?
I only know for certain that Noah understands these words: bottle, eat, bite, nap, time for bed, Noah, Erin, and Daddy's home. I know there is a lot more, but those are the only ones I know for certain.
But I learned a little more this morning.
It has become routine for us to have Disney's Oceans on in the background most mornings. About 10 minutes ago, I was checking my email and Noah walks up and hands me the remote (he has a fascination with remotes). I say to him, "do you want to watch Oceans?"
He grunts and looks at the TV (which was turned off). Now, I don't know if he understood "watch" or "Oceans" or both, but something was understood.
Just cool to see evidence of him understanding words beyond just his own name.
