4 days

My new mega-morning sickness continued strong over the last 4 days. It was pretty miserable. I've got Sean's mom here to help me with the kids since he is still in dissertation mode (the Big Defense is this Thursday). I'm not sure how long she'll be staying. I guess that's up to me and my tummy.

Today has seemed to ease up quite a bit and I'm feeling the same as I did prior to this past Wednesday (which means I get nauseated as I get hungry, which makes me not want to eat anything; I get full fast and therefore get hungry - and nauseated - not long after eating). But it's a little better than feeling sick from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed.

Around now is supposed to be when all the nausea goes away, for some it's at 16 weeks (I know for others it goes even longer...lets hope not). Right now I'm at 14. Two weeks seems like a long time....

I didn't stop throwing up until after 22 weeks. Lemonade and cheese were about the only things I could eat until then. I ended up with some great drugs, that I was trying to avoid, but eventually couldn't. If that happens with the next one I'm not sure what I'll do. I'm so impressed you're doing it with 2 little ones!!!!

I don't know how you survived that many weeks feeling like that...it's hard to function and concentrate on anything!

Well today seems to be even better than yesterday, so maybe I'm through the worst of it. And yes, it's hard with two kids around and that's why I needed extra help from my mother in-law! Glad she's so close to be able to help. It would have been hard by myself, esp. with the stinky diapers...
