Sidewalk Chalk and Bunnies

It's been a good Saturday, and it's not even over yet.

Erin, Noah and I started out the day by going to Abby's 3rd birthday party. We saw some other moms we knew too, and we had a good time. It was at a place called Gym Bugs, which is a dance/gymnastics place for little kids, so there were lots of fun toys to jump and play on.

Part of Erin's goody bag included sidewalk chalk. So after lunch we spent some time outside in the front yard coloring on the sidewalk. Noah enjoyed getting his pants all chalky and trying to put sticks and chalk in his mouth (this made his mom very happy).

Here's a link to the other photos we took outside.

After a while we headed to the backyard where we found 2 tiny newborn animals laying in the grass. We couldn't tell exactly what they were, we thought they might be puppies. So we called animal control over to pick them up. The lady thought they might be rabbit babies (I looked that up after she left and I think she was right). She was going to take them somewhere at UT where they'd be raised.

Tonight Sean and I get a rare thing around here...a date! A friend of his from school is going to come over and watch the kids and put them to bed. We're going to our new favorite restaurant...Stir Fry Cafe. We hate that we just discovered it a few weeks ago and now we have to leave Knoxville. After dinner I think we'll go have a beer or two and relax without the kids around!
