We're here at the hospital. Cheryl has a great vein, according to the nurse. And she's hungry. I mean Cheryl is. I have no idea about the nurse, and she's friendly-ish but kinda gruff-looking, so I'm not brave enough to ask if she's hungry.
We listened to the Decembrists' "Sons and Daughters" on the way in.
The nurse just said, "My name's Gail right now. It'll change at 7:00." That must be tough, I'm thinking.
Cheryl says, "Hi, I'm hungry."
