Next week is UT's Spring Break, and we debated for a while if we were going to try to get away for a few days. It's pretty much our only opportunity to take a mini vacation this year. In another month or so I'll be too far along to travel, and then we'll have a newborn. And I won't be able to separate from him for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time until he's done nursing. So, it's our last chance.
So we're taking a few days next week and traveling to Atlanta. We've got our plans all mapped out, and of course it's all the fun touristy stuff. We'll see the Aquarium, the High Museum, the botanical gardens, etc. I really hope it's nice (rain-free) weather since most of this stuff is all within walking distance of each other (including our hotel).
We have never traveled with Erin in a hotel room before. We'll have the Pack N' Play, so I hope that naps and bedtime go okay. She's definitely used to having her own room - even when traveling to other people's houses. The worst part of it will be having to stay silent once she goes to bed around 7:30/8. We'll probably just watch movies on the laptop with earphones in the dark. But it's not like we'll be up super late anyway.
So that's our fun trip that we're looking forward to. One last trip while it's just the three of us. Too bad Erin won't remember a thing.
