There are two houses in my neighborhood already decorated. Last year they decorated Halloween weekend, at least they waited two weeks. oh wait, they did leave out a huge star wreath over their garage ALL year....
I vote we just leave our Christmas stuff up all year. It's much easier than putting it up and taking it down every year just to have it up for 5 weeks.

In all fairness, today does mark the start of the Nativity Fast in the Eastern Churches. Maybe that's their excuse.

I just don't understand that. Can't they wait until after Thanksgiving.
I even heard Christmas music playing in the mall a few days ago.
