Our playgroup went to a rec center near downtown which has "Mommy & Me" time for a couple hours twice a week. So this was Erin's first time in a big pool.
We were the first to arrive and were the only ones in the pool for about 15 minutes or so. At first her arms were super-glued to my neck, but after a while - and especially after the other kids got there - she let me hold her out in front of me most of the time.
She got really comfortable with it, and I think she had fun. We were in there for a whole two hours. It was cute to see her little wrinkly toes. We will definitely get back there again.
Another first for her today was to get a small taste of ice cream. Baskin Robbin's had 31 cent scoop night, and she got a tiny taste of strawberry. She didn't go nuts for it but she didn't refuse a second bite either.
