Good to be Home

As wonderful as Puerto Rico was, it's great to be back home. We both really missed Erin and she seems older even after leaving her for just barely a week.

She's also working towards walking on her own - more so than before. A few times today she has let go of where she was standing and taken a couple clumsy steps towards the next thing to grab a hold of (not more than a foot and a half between the two). She's still afraid to balance without holding on, but she's getting so close. Just like when she started crawling, I'm sure one day soon she'll just get up and walk.

It's been a nice, peaceful weekend and it's quickly coming to a close. We did our taxes this afternoon, and here's a little secret on how to make your refund much higher: have a baby.
