There's No Taming That Hair

Not a terribly eventful week so far. We have had our usual playdates (like the one pictured above), and our time at home where Erin is always on the go. For some reason she has a fascination with paper. Anything paper has to be examined (and crinkled and torn). And then there are the cords that she likes to pull on. And the coffee table that she likes to walk around and around on. And anything that mom is eating or drinking should obviously be shared - right?

Of all the ages and stages with Erin so far, I think this has been the most fun. She is mobile and therefore less clingy, so I don't have to always hold her. She can entertain herself and is easily amused. You can tell that she understands a lot of what you are saying to her (at least by tone of voice and some specific words), and she does a lot of "talking." We have fun during the day together, but she also lights up when her daddy comes home and she is so happy to see him.

She's a lot of fun right now, and I'm not looking forward to having to discipline her when she gets to be a toddler. I'm not a fool thinking she'll be a perfect angel - but I want her to be :)
