My, How You've Grown

After you've had a baby for a little while, you notice that there are time periods where they are doing/learning new things everyday and they seem to be developing so fast. And then things slow down and they plateau for a while until they have a new spurt of development.

Erin had been plateauing until a couple of weeks ago, and now she's turning into a teenager - or so it seems.

It started with the crawling and has gone from there. Here are the highlights:

1) crawling
2) walking while holding on to the furniture
3) being able to drink from an open cup
4) going up in a diaper size and wearing bigger clothes
5) babbling "bababababa" and "dadadadada"
6) clearly understanding the word "eat" (spitting out her pacifier when we ask her if she wants to eat before food is even in sight)
7) eating small chunks of food instead of just pureed food

Even looking back a month, it seems like she is so much older, and definitely more independent.

Still working on getting any teeth and taking naps in her crib. One is in her control, the other is not.
