What A Cute Boy You Have

I was so glad to see Erin wake up with a smile on her face today. I knew it would be a better day than yesterday for her. I really think she wasn't feeling well, whether it was teething, gas, or just because it was Monday. Whatever it was, it was gloomy.

She has been much happier today, which is why I hated to see our playdate get canceled because of the snow. It was actually something I had scheduled, but the other moms were backing out because of the icy/snowy roads. I rescheduled it for next week knowing that by 2pm (when we were meeting) everything will have mostly melted and it would be fine to go out. And I was right. Oh well.

So instead of another day stuck in the house, I bundled us up and went out to a few stores to just walk around.

I had Erin dressed in the above brown sweater, brown pants and her new pink tennis shoes. She was mistaken for a boy FOUR times. Shame on me for not always drowning her in pink from head to toe!

Now we are home and she is snoozing in the crib. I hope she sleeps longer than her usual half hour.
