The days are passing way too quickly. I can't believe it's Tuesday already. We are having a really great time in Gville.Saturday night was a lot of fun - we had our friends over from the young adult group. The picture here is Erin playing with Andrew. He's only 4 months, so he makes Erin look like a midget. They had a good time interacting until Erin tried to pull his ear off.
Sunday night after Erin went to bed, we went out on a date (a rare thing these days). We ate at Blue Ridge downtown and then walked around Pet Smart. Why Pet Smart? We didn't want to go home just yet and were too full to stop for dessert, so we wanted a store that would be fun to walk around. We were home by 9, I guess we're not so young and crazy anymore.
Monday we met a few of my old Greenville Magazine co-workers for lunch. I managed to lock the keys in the car as we were getting out. Thank God we had barely cracked the driver side window, so we got a couple of coat hangers and broke into our car. But anyway, lunch was fun.
Last night we got together with some of my Winthrop friends. Julie & Jonathan brought little Jacob, but the babies couldn't get too close since he had a little cough. Katie's about 4 months pregnant with her first, so she was soaking up as much advice as she could from the "experienced" moms. I remember those days when I didn't know what to expect with a newborn. It's exciting, but pretty scary too.
That brings us up to date. In a little bit we are going to go by my mom's work. Then do a little wondering around the mall for fun. Tonight is dinner at Brian and Nicole's.
Later...
