Just Go To Sleep, Child

So this morning, I saw a guy on TV named Tommy Thomas. Doesn't that mean his full name is Thomas Thomas?

I was too happy too soon about the napping situation. Yesterday went great, she took 2 naps on her own - the second time she only took 15 minutes to fall asleep.

Today I have had no luck. I have made a few attempts at leaving her in the crib, but she has now been up for 9 hours without a nap. Normally, she doesn't go more than 3 or 4 hours.

I was hoping today would go better than this. If any moms have any suggestions, let me know. We made it through this when we did it at bedtime, and now we just have to do it all over again for daytime. I wish there was an easier way to do it.
