And it's been a good year.
The semester is winding down. So Erin and I are getting a little more daddy time. But it's also been stressful for him to get everything done within these last few days. It's always the worst when the end is at the tip of your finger, but there's still lots to do. But by the weekend, he'll be totally done.
It would be fun to spend the whole break playing. But for some reason we feel the need to be adults (at least part of the time). We have a relatively short list of things to accomplish next week - including baby proofing the house {fun, fun}, and other things that need to get done around here.
And then it's off for a 2 week vacation.
First stop, Greenville. We are spending the 20th through Christmas visiting with family and friends that we haven't seen in a while. I am very much looking forward to those few days. Then right after Christmas we are trekking across a big chunk of the country to Houston to visit Alex. In the car (well, mini van) will be the three of us and the Barnettes. I'm not sure how easy of a traveling companion Erin will be for 14 hours (over two days), but I guess we'll find out.
But in the mean time, once again we are battling the sniffles. Since cold & flu season started, the three of us have been sick a combined 7 times. Not cool.
