The snow that I mentioned on Friday was a very fast come-and-go. That morning it took me until about 10:30 to open the blinds in the living room. And when I did, I was surprised by the flurries. It didn't last long, but it was exciting. Despite the cold, I still took Erin out to story time at the library.
I'm excited about this week. My parents are coming here on Wednesday (they haven't seen Erin in about 2 months) and Thursday we are all going to my in laws to spend the holiday. They are almost done building their new house (which is about an hour and a half away from us), so we will have a roof, heat, water and all that, but not much furniture. I think it will be a lot of fun. Plus, there will be some other relatives & friends of the family that will get to meet Erin (including old neighbors of ours from Ohio that now live about 20 miles from where we'll be).
Well, it's gettin' on bedtime for us old folks. Once again I am back "on call" tonight. I hope she sleeps through the night. Just make it till four or five, is that too much to ask?
