You Only Get One First Halloween

We took Erin to Mass tonight, followed by a "trunk or treat" in the parking lot. It was a lot of fun. I forgot to bring something to get candy in, so we just used a diaper trash bag. It worked.

Next year will be fun when we can allow her to walk around and get her own candy, and be able to stay later than 7 for the bon fire, hot dogs, etc. Tonight, we left just as she was getting to her bedtime-fussiness. Lucky for our ears, she fell asleep pretty quickly in the car (see photo below).

It was a good first Halloween, for being 6 months and all.
