Once she realizes she likes carrots, she'll eat more. Then you'll discover that carrots are a flavoring/ingredient in lots and lots of mixed baby foods. This isn't a problem, except that little bitty baby livers take a while to learn to process beta carotene efficiently (also found in other orange & yellow veggies and some green foods).
Until that metabolic efficiency develops, lots of unprocessed beta carotene floats around in the blood stream. This typically leads to orangish colors in some "extremities" such as finger tips and the end of a baby's nose.
Somewhere between 5-8 months, most babies have a few orange nose photos. It's normal, kinda cute, and defintely a sign that development is progressing normally. We'll look forward to seeing the little orange nosed spider baby.
