Small Changes
She'll be 7 weeks old tomorrow for Father's Day. Time is going by so fast and so slow at the same time. Can't believe we're coming up on her baptism already (28th). We've been planning our after party for so long now - combo party for the baptism and her dad's 30th.
30. I guess she'll never know us in our 20's.
We're starting to see small changes in her. She can just about hold her head up on her own now. Not completely, but we're almost there. And the "fake smiles" are happening more often, and they almost seem real now. They aren't always followed by gas or an explosive poop. It will be wonderful when we really know she's smiling at us.
We're a little concerned about her not gaining weight fast enough (most people ask if she was born premature, and just today in Target we were asked if she's a week old). Yes, we know she's small! Get over it. But just in case she's not getting enough food, I have been feeding her more often and for longer periods of time this week. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday, so we can see how her weight is doing. Although, the doctor didn't seem concerned when we were there last. We just want to keep her healthy.
Okay, it's feeding time. Gotta go. Enjoy the new photos - it's funny that you can really see her old man hair.
