Another Day

Is it really May 21st already? Next week, she'll be a month old. It seems so fast, and yet I feel like she's been here for months.

The crying seems to be getting better. She's usually pretty quiet during the day - easy to put down for naps - but once 6ish hits, she'll cry for a while. It's like she knows we're sitting down for dinner. Then we'll get another one or two crying fits during the late evening/night. The fact that she cries during the same time periods every day points to colic. If it is, let's hope it passes quickly. It's hard to keep your patience at 2am when you've got someone screaming to high heaven in your ear.

I was colic as a baby, and I never really appreciated what that meant until now. Sorry Mom.

It will be nice when I can get out of the house with her. I don't see that happening soon.
