Almost 11:00pm. We're pretty fully settled in. Cheryl's already gotten the epidural and it's kicked in wonderfully. Her legs are numb. She said earlier that would prob'ly be the most annoying part of giving birth.
We'll see.
[She corrects me: that'll be the most annoying part of laying here, not of giving birth.]
She's about 5cm dilated. Baby's still doing well, face down and happy.
Well, we don't really know if she's happy. Her entire world just got drained of all the liquid she's used to living in. So I wonder if maybe she's not very happy. Hopefully she'll crying about that soon.
My parents got here, after five and a half hours of driving. They brought fresh batteries, and my dad's trying to get the DVD player we brought to talk to the TV set that's in the room.
