When you live in the south, you pretty much have to say "I'll believe it when I see it" so that you are never disappointed when the weatherman has gotten your hopes up for nothing. And then when you do actually get to wake up with snow on the ground, it's that much more exciting.
It has been so cold and yucky the past few weeks. We've been saying that if it just snowed, then it would make it worth it. I guess we got our wish. And when this is over, I'd like really like to move towards Spring. Winter can be depressing with its gray skies.
UT had no closings or delays this morning, so I'm home enjoying the view by myself. My boss left for FL today, so I can pretty much go into work when I want. It's tempting to say home (who would know?), but then I'd short myself about $50 in pay and that's about a weeks worth of groceries. Although, I guess I should turn on the news and see how bad it is out there (beyond my street) in case I really do need to stay put.
